Food and Drink Policy

Food is not permitted in the library. 

Drinks are permitted, except in areas near computers and other electronic equipment, and in restrooms. 

All drinks must be in covered, unbreakable containers & must be disposed of properly in trash cans. 

Patrons who violate this policy will be given a warning.  If a second violation occurs, patrons are subject to suspension of library privileges.

Light refreshments may be served by a group or organization using the library meeting rooms, with an approved meeting room application (see Meeting Room policy).

Possession of alcoholic beverages on city property is prohibited.

Exceptions to this policy are made at the Director’s discretion and for Library programs.
