Gale InfoTrac -- Gale provides access to full text information on a broad range of topics including general, business, health, and multicultural interests. Age-appropriate publications provide information from current and authoritative journals, magazines, pamphlets, newsletters, and reference books on many topics.

Heritage Quest -- Family history search in complete set of U.S. Federal Census Records from 1790-1930 with information on people and places in over 25,000 family and local histories.

Learn-A-Test -- Learn-A-Test provides hundreds of practice tests and tutorial courses series designed to help patrons, students, and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. Patrons get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individual analysis of the results.

Medline Plus -- A service of the U. S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institute of Health. Get answers to your medical questions.
NetLibrary -- eBooks -- Any books in the Sedalia Public Library collection listed as eBooks in the catalog may be remotely accessed by setting up a free account at the library. After the pre-registration, the user name and password will allow patrons to access the eBooks from any computer.

NewsBank -- NewsBank provides the full text of news features, special interest stories, editorials, daily columns, letters to the editor, sports reports, obituaries and more from Missouri publications: Kansas City Star, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and Springfield News-Leader. Nationwide newspapers are also available: Chicago Tribune, New York Post, Wichita Eagle, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Des Moines Register, Louisville Courier Journal, Tulsa World and Christian Science Monitor.

Novelist -- At the EBSCOhost site, scroll down to access Novelist. Novelist is a readers’ advisory with tools such as “Find a Favorite Author” to locate a list of your favorite author’s titles or titles of authors that write in a similar style with the tool, “Find Similar Books” feature. You can find titles of “read aloud” for nursery schools and Novelist will also tell you the list of titles in series in the reading order with “Find a Series Name” feature.
